Privacy policy

Overview
Pokémon Atlas is operated by rrih and does not require an Atlas account. Images and scenes are saved on your device. Analytics loads only after your optional consent. The app uses Google AdSense for advertising. Analytics and advertising choices are handled separately.
Information saved on your device
The app saves language, display settings, favorites, scenes, backgrounds, and privacy choices in your browser's storage. Background images use IndexedDB. The app converts images for display and resizes them when needed before saving. It does not save the original file name or image metadata. This storage restores your preferences and provides the features you choose; the app does not automatically send its contents to the operator's server.
The app also caches application files and models for offline use. Clearing this site's data in your browser or device settings can remove this information. Uninstalling the app may leave browser data behind.
Removing a background from view may leave the image on your device so saved scenes can still use it. To delete locally saved backgrounds together, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. This also removes saved scenes, favorites, and preferences. Separately delete any exported images, scene files, or original image files that you no longer want. Local information does not automatically sync, and the operator cannot recover it for you. Exporting a scene with its background puts the image in that file. Review the file before sending it to others.
Delivering the website
GitHub Pages hosts this site. When your browser requests pages or files, GitHub processes information such as your IP address and request details. Online delivery still involves network requests when you refuse analytics. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Optional analytics
If you consent to analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand usage and improve the app. It may process page-view counts, the chosen display language, browser and device details, and identifiers such as cookies. Measurement uses a fixed app address and title. We do not send search text, background images, image names or identifiers, or scene names. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled.

Advertising
The app may display up to one small, fixed-size advertisement through Google AdSense. Ads are non-personalized worldwide: they are not selected using your past browsing behavior. Cookies and similar technologies may still be used for frequency control, reporting, and fraud prevention. Google may process page information, IP addresses, browser and device information, and identifiers such as cookies. See How Google uses information from partner sites.
Google's consent service loads with ad requests paused while the applicable advertising choices are determined. This involves communication with Google before an advertising choice is made. According to Google's description of paused ad requests, existing cookies on Google domains may be read during this pause, but the paused ad tags do not set new cookies or use existing-cookie data for ad serving or measurement.
Where Google's European consent requirements apply, an ad is requested only after a completed consent choice permits storing or accessing information on your device and includes consent for Google. Refusal of those permissions, an unknown consent state, or a consent-service error means no ad is requested. The app does not use Auto ads, full-screen ads, or sticky ads. It does not automatically refresh an ad when you switch Pokémon or as time passes.
Your choices
Analytics does not load before you consent. You can refuse it and continue to view models and create scenes. Open “Privacy settings” to change your choices or withdraw consent. The app saves your choice in this browser. If it cannot save it, the app shows a notice and applies your choice only for the current visit.
Where European advertising choices apply, open “Ad privacy choices” at the bottom of the app to review or withdraw your advertising consent. Opening those choices pauses further ad requests and removes the displayed ad while you reconsider. Where US state privacy choices apply, use “Do not sell or share my personal information” to make your choice through Google's consent service. These controls are separate from “Privacy settings” for analytics: agreeing to one does not mean agreeing to the other.
Withdrawing analytics consent stops new analytics transmissions. Withdrawing the permissions needed for an ad stops further ad requests and removes the displayed ad; the consent service may still communicate to handle your choices. Withdrawal does not, by itself, delete information already sent to Google. You can also remove local site data and cookies through your browser settings.
Contact and privacy requests
If you submit a GitHub Issue, GitHub and the operator receive the information you choose to post, and it becomes public. We use reports to respond to inquiries, fix problems, and review rights concerns. Do not include unnecessary personal or confidential information.
You may use that contact route for requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or restrictions on processing under applicable law. Do not attach identity-verification information to a public report. You can manage and delete information held only on your own device. For information independently held by Google or GitHub, you can also use their privacy contact routes.
External providers and processing abroad
GitHub and Google may process information outside your country when providing hosting, advertising, consent management, or the analytics you choose. Consent-management communication is not limited to users who have agreed to analytics or advertising. Their privacy information linked above describes their safeguards and handling of storage and deletion. This is separate from saving a background locally on your device.

We will update this page when our information practices change. We will provide the necessary explanation and consent choices before using information for new optional purposes.
