An unofficial fan app

Pokémon Atlas is an unofficial fan app operated by rrih. It is not operated, provided, endorsed, or approved by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or their affiliates.

The app's original work

Rights to the app's original source code and interface design belong to the operator, rrih. The original code is available under the MIT license in the public repository. Third-party libraries, fonts, images, and other materials remain subject to their respective rights and terms.

Character and asset rights

Pokémon names, characters, models, textures, artwork, and related rights belong to their respective owners. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures, and GAME FREAK.

Pokémon assets are not covered by the app's code license. Listing an asset's source or author does not establish permission from the character's rights holders. This app does not grant commercial-use or redistribution rights to Pokémon intellectual property.

Advertising does not indicate affiliation with or endorsement by Pokémon rights holders.

Data and asset sources

Pokémon information and artwork come from PokéAPI and PokéAPI sprites. Model sources include Pokémon HOME GLB Models, Pokémon HOME Unity Models, and Pokémon 3D API assets. The app incorporates original idle animations and adapts color, transparency, and other appearance details for web display. Some special visual effects are approximations.

Additional model credits

The following 14 works are listed with the authorship, work links, and license recorded by the distribution source. For each work, we retained only the idle animation and optimized the file for web display. A license covering the author's contribution does not guarantee permission for Pokémon characters, names, or other third-party rights.

Rights requests

For concerns about asset rights, contact us through GitHub Issues. Identify the affected material and your relationship to the rights holder, using information you can safely make public. We will review the report and reconsider the material where appropriate. GitHub Issues are public; do not post private information or confidential documents.

Preview and promotional images

The illustration used to introduce the app as a whole was created with OpenAI image generation. Individual Pokémon and form previews are still images rendered from the included models. Reference artwork is identified when used instead.

Supplementary Pokédex descriptions and categories

Some Japanese descriptions are concise Atlas summaries based on the official Japanese Pokédex, identified separately from game Pokédex entries. Some Chinese category names are supplemented from the official Simplified Chinese Pokédex and Traditional Chinese Pokédex. Where a localized description is unavailable, Atlas presents a factual summary of types, height and weight. Each page identifies its source and verification date.
