How to use Pokémon Atlas

View a Pokémon

1. Open the app to search by name or number and choose a Pokémon. You can also browse the Pokédex by type and generation.
2. Drag across the viewer to rotate the camera. Pinch or use the zoom buttons to change the distance. Reset the view to return to the starting angle.
3. Use play and pause to control movement. Select a form or the shiny appearance when that option is available. Some models only have gentle display movement.
4. Choose a landscape or choose a background image from your device. Studio settings let you adjust lighting, animation speed and display quality.

Arrange up to six Pokémon

1. Switch to Together to create a scene.
2. Choose a Pokémon and add it to the scene. Repeat to add more Pokémon, up to six in total.
3. Select a member to change its position, size, direction, form or appearance. Use the camera controls to frame the whole group.
4. Choose a landscape or a local background image, then give the scene a name and save it.

Changing the selected Pokémon in the Pokédex does not automatically replace every member of a saved scene.

Save on your device or share

Favorites, language preferences, scenes and background images are stored in this browser. Saved scenes are not uploaded to an account. Clearing site data can remove them.

• In Together view, Share link copies a URL that restores Pokémon, forms, shiny appearances, placement, environment and camera on another device. The address bar also follows your layout. Scene names and local background images are excluded; image backgrounds are replaced with the studio.
• Download a scene file to keep a copy or move it to another device. A scene file may include its background image: check it before sharing.
• Import the scene file in Pokémon Atlas to reopen it. Keep the original file as a backup.

Install and use offline

Use “Get the app” when your browser offers installation, or your browser’s Add to Home Screen command. Installing is optional.

Open the Pokémon and forms you want while online. Previously opened models and supporting files can then be reused offline when the browser has retained them. Opening every Pokémon for the first time still needs a connection. Browser storage limits or clearing site data can remove cached files.

When an update is available, save your current scene before applying it. Your saved scenes and favorites normally remain in the same browser.

If a model does not open

1. Try again while online.
2. Choose battery-friendly display quality and close other graphics-heavy tabs.
3. Update your browser and allow WebGL graphics acceleration if it was disabled.
4. If the problem continues, send the Pokémon name, browser, device and steps to reproduce through Contact. Do not attach private background images or sensitive scene files.
